Chief Operating Officer, Accomplish MAT & English Hub Finance Lead

Yvonne Wells is Chief Operating Officer at Accomplish MAT and is passionate about creating the strong financial and organisational foundations that enable schools and educational programmes to thrive.

A qualified Chartered Accountant, Yvonne brings significant expertise in finance, strategy and organisational leadership. Prior to moving into education, she worked for O2 in Customer Service Finance and Strategy roles, before bringing her experience into the education sector. At Accomplish MAT, Yvonne previously served as Chief Financial Officer before becoming Chief Operating Officer.

Yvonne plays a key role in the strategic development of Jerry Clay English Hub, leading on the Hub’s financial management, funding and operational planning. She works closely with the English Hub team to ensure Department for Education funding is used effectively and strategically, enabling the Hub to maximise its reach and provide high-quality support to schools.

Yvonne is passionate about ensuring that strong financial planning underpins the Hub’s ambition to improve the teaching of reading and ultimately achieve better outcomes for children across the region.
